Your data, in your hands.

Recall uses your name, email, decks, study activity and preferences to provide accounts and studying. Supabase manages authentication; Resend delivers account emails and reminders you choose. We do not sell your data or show ads.

Passwords are handled by our authentication provider. Session cookies keep you signed in. Device storage keeps guest cards, offline copies and preferences. Export your study data from Settings and use Delete my account to request permanent removal from the live service. Provider backups may retain copies according to their retention policies.

Shared decks and group progress are visible according to the sharing choices you make. Avoid adding sensitive information to cards. We keep limited security records to prevent abuse.

Public-page traffic

We keep daily aggregate counts for selected public pages and coarse traffic sources to understand whether people find Recall. These analytics totals do not store visitor IDs, IP addresses, full referring URLs, query strings, private study activity or device fingerprints. They do not identify unique people. Aggregates are retained for 90 days and older totals are pruned when public requests run. An optional cookie lets the operator exclude their own browser. Hosting/security logs are separate and may include connection information.

Optional unique-browser measurement

Only with your consent, Recall sets a first-party cookie with a random browser ID for up to 90 days. We keep the hash of that ID and the date of a visit to selected public pages for up to 90 days, to count browsers once per reporting period. Older records are pruned during measurement. We do not attach an IP address, account, pages visited, or private study activity to that ID in analytics. If you reject, a cookie remembers that choice for up to 90 days without a browser ID. Withdraw consent below to stop this measurement and remove the records associated with this browser’s current ID. This does not affect study access or earlier lawful processing.
